Paris

Tomorrow is my last day in Paris.

I am having a truly amazing time.
I met up with my University roomate, whom I have only seen twice since we both graduated in 1979 and it was just as if we had seen each other yesterday.
I have been to the Beaubourg, Le Marais and the Place de Voges. I have eaten in a fancy restaurant, tramped around the Louvre and eaten crepes sale (fromage et jambon) on several street corners. I bought shoes! Today I visted the tomb of Abelard and Heloise at the Cemetary Pere Lachaise. I have been to a french jazz club to see a chanteuse and if all goes well I will be singing myself tonight at an Irish music session in the Marais.
I won’t be able to digest it all until I get home and have some time – and I will post more then
I will also post more pictures but meanwhile here is me and my wonderful friend who made it all possible by deciding to spend a year in Paris and then inviting me to visit him.
Vive La France!
